I am so incredibly honored to be the first recipient of the Carol Swenson Memorial Scholarship.
The Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program is a nonprofit organization that I have been part of for a long time. This summer, I took on a bigger role in the organization as the social media director.
The Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program has given me so much and continues to allow me to grow as an individual. I am so thankful that I am able to be part of such an amazing organization and offer young men and women the opportunities that were once offered to me.
The late Carol Swenson was the treasurer of this amazing program and I am beyond grateful to be recognized in her name. Carol was a true symbol of leadership, hard work, and dedication. I thank her family for seeing these qualities in me, as she was a huge mentor to me and I strive to impact lives the way she was able to.
