Clouds Choir

On Friday, December 8th my Royal sisters and I attended the 11th annual Clouds Choir at the Mall of America. This uplifting event celebrates the life of Zach Sobiech who wrote the song “Clouds” as a way to say goodbye to his family and friends. The event also helps raise funds for the Osteosarcoma Fund so kids like Zach and this year’s ambassador, Megan, have access to better treatments. I felt sad but also encouraged seeing so many people there to sing Zach’s song. I got goosebumps as we sang and was delighted by the foil streamers that dropped from the ceiling. The most special moment of the night was when we met Zach’s mom after the performance.

Skate with Santa

On December 1st we skated with Santa at the Veterans Memorial Community Center. We saw so many kids there having a fun time. There was a scavenger hunt, bingo, treats, and hot cocoa. We had so much fun skating with Santa and seeing other people in the community.

Little Miss Sponsor Visit

On December 1st, I got to visit my sponsor Southeast Towing. We talked to Jenny and met some of her furry friends. They had two cats, one named Midnight and the other named Pigpen. There was also a dog named River. We brought Jenny some homemade cookies in a metal gingerbread tin. It was so fun seeing Jenny and her furry friends.

We had a really good time at the event in Cambridge! First we had a social hour, so we could get to know other royalty. we got pictures with a bunch of royalty and Santa. The parade was so beautiful with all the lights and decorations. We finished off with a chili feed with all of the royalty again. It was amazing to spend more time together!

Service Project for our Junior Miss

For my service project I collected un used Halloween candy. I collected the candy for Park Nicollet Infusion Clinic for the family and patients after treatments. I enjoyed hearing everyone’s stories who had gone thru chemo or been affected by chemo. I did this service project because I have had family and friends who were affected and treated by chemo therapy.

Crowning Achievements

It was so fun attending the Crowning Achievements pageant on Saturday! My royal sisters and I joined the extensive sparkle section to cheer on the participants. We enjoyed learning more about the candidates and watching some performances including singing and a ribbon dance. I think they will all be excellent ambassadors for their program and the community.

Sponsor Visit

On Wednesday, November 1st, I went to go visit my sponsor Bruce, at Quality Auto Care Center for the second time. I brought Bruce a little thank you gift and a picture of me and him to hang on his photo wall. I stayed and chatted for a little bit after I took a picture with Bruce. I am very excited to be sponsored by Bruce this year and visit him  throughout the year.

Moose Lodge Trunk and Treat

On Sunday, October 29th, my royal sisters and I went to the Moose Lodge 1088 to participate in their trunk or treat event. We had the pleasure of helping hand out chips, juice boxes, and some fun bee stickers. Me and my royal sisters had the honor of dressing up as bumble bees. I had so much fun at the  trunk or treat because I loved seeing the kids costumes and seeing their creativity. It was quite a cold event, I still had so much fun spending time with my royal sisters.

Sincerely, your 2024 Junior Miss Princess Lily

Cottage Grove Parade

On Saturday October 28th we got to be part of the Monster Bash Parade in Cottage Grove. Our float theme was Bestie Bees and we won third place for most creative float. We had a custom bee hive pinata made by Cheyanne’s grandma.  We got to meet the royalty from Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest, Rice Street, and Glenwood City. It was so cold but so many people came to see the parade and everyone else who was in it. We saw a lot of people dressed up in really cool costumes. We were singing a lot of songs that were playing while we were on the float. It was our first parade as royalty and it was so much fun doing it with all of with my royal family.

Thank you,
