On Tuesday, my royal sisters and I attended the Inver Groove Music in the Park event at the VMCC turf. We danced along to the music of Todd ‘n’ Tina, helped greet families, and handed out freezies at the end of the event. We had so much fun!

I am so excited to share more about my second service project. I learned that a local food shelf gives out over 150 birthday bags a week to kids whose parents come to the food shelf for groceries. Each bag contains a box of cake mix, frosting, candles, napkins or plates, and party favors. My goal was to pack thirty bags. It took over two months but I just dropped off all thirty bags. I hope they can brighten a birthday child’s day.

The royalty court and candidates had a family picnic at Lorraine park. We had so much fun bonding and getting to now each other. We played at the park, introduced our selfs, and ate lots of delicious food.

Jr miss Inver Grove Heights 2024
We attended the aquatennial parade in downtown minneapolis. We had an exciting start to the event pulling a float in rush hour traffic. It was very cool to go under the minneapolis convention center to set up all the floats. we met with other royalty before the parade, and when it started we headed down Nicollet Mall. it was so fun going through the tall buildings and even had to stop for the light rail trains. we’re excited for the aquatennial candidates and wish them luck for the next year!

My royal sisters and I attended the MN Twins Sparkle Night on Tuesday, July 23rd. Before the game we walked around the field with royalty from communities around the state and even Wisconsin. They introduced us and we were featured on the Jumbotron! We enjoyed the $1 hot dogs and had a great view of the game from our seats. Though the Twins lost in the ninth inning we still had a great time.

We had our candidate orientation! We saw a few familiar faces and some new faces. So excited to get to know the candidates, and spend the summer with them!

On 6/21/24 we went Hopkins Raspberry Festival. We meet many different royalties around the area. It started off with a pre parade brunch where we meet the new raspberry festival royalty. Then we walked around outside talking to other royalty and people. After that we went off on the parade it was so fun I had a BLAST!

On Thursday, July 18th my royal sisters and I got the pleasure of attending the Hopkins Raspberry Festival Coronation. We got to mingle and take photos with other royalty before the coronation. It was sad saying goodbye to the royalty going out, but we had fun getting to know them. We are so excited to become friends with the newly crowned. After the coronation was over they had a little after party with dessert and some fun dancing. We had a blast at this coronation and can’t wait to be in the Hopkins Raspberry parade!

This past Friday, we introduced ourselves and talked about our Scholarship Program to the Moose Lodge. People from the other Moose locations came to IGH and heard a little about the Moose Lodge 1088’s affiliation with our program. On Saturday, July 13th my royal sisters and I attended the Pan-O-Prog parade in Lakeville. We were lucky the rain stopped before the parade started. We sat on ponchos because the rain soaked the seats. We met lots of fellow royalty and had a great time riding the golf cart to the pre-parade lunch. We are really having fun as we wrap up the year in just a short 1.5 months. I am sad that it is ending but am enjoying every minute of the time we have left.
