Kaposia Days Parade

On Friday, June 26, my sisters and I attended the Kaposia Days Parade in South St. Paul. It was a beautiful evening and we met royalty from Rice Street, Strawberry Fest, Winter Carnival, and North Hudson, WI Pepper Fest and we gave them all our new buttons. We also met the new royalty from Cottage Grove and took a picture with them. I got to wave to a lot people I knew and had great time!

Sponsor Visit

On Wednesday June 26th,

I went to visit my sponsor Quality Auto Care Center. There was some construction going on by the shop, so it was a little difficult navigating my way to Bruce. We made it though. Fun Fact the owner Bruce bought Quality Auto Care Center in 2006 and worked there for a few years before he bought it. Bruce and I talked about how the royalty year has been going and how he got involved with the program. I am so thankful for his continued sponsorship of the program, especially for sponsoring me throughout my reign. I hope to see Bruce at the kickoff dinner in August.

Alice’s First Service Project

For my first service project I collected 40 1 gallon milk jugs for my schools H2O for life walk for water. We used the milk jugs for carrying water from our pond to our school to learn about how they get water in other countries. We also helped raise money for the installation of vip latrines and a hand washing station for a rural school in Nicaragua.

Cottage Grove Coronation

On Monday June 24th, my royal sisters and I had the pleasure of attending the Cottage Grove Coronation. We had such a wonderful time getting to know the past royalty. It was so fun to meet the newly crowned ambassadors and we cannot wait to become friends with them over the summer. It was such a great time watching the candidates share more about themselves. We were super proud of all the candidates and how well they presented themselves.
