On Sunday, December 14, my Royal Sisters and I helped at the very first Story Time With Santa event at Cuppa More Pages. We helped kids with crafts and got to try some delicious cookies! Santa also came to read stories and take pictures with everyone. It was so fun helping out with the crafts!

On Saturday, December 13th me and my royal family went to the Inver Grove Veterans Community Center for breakfast with Santa. We got to help with cookie decorating and we also met Santa and Mrs. Claus. They had a delicious breakfast with eggs and sausage and donuts for all who came. There were lots of games and activities for kids. I had so much fun and it was a great experience!

On December 5th my royal sisters and I attended the Tree lighting ceremony at Veterans Memorial Center. It was a lot of fun listening to a lovely singer, and we even joined her with some Christmas carols. Once the tree was all lit up we took a lot of pictures and headed inside for some cookies and cider.

For my first service project I designed and painted a mural in the teacher’s lounge at Hilltop Elementary. Since it’s such a big space to paint, I completed the first third of the painting in October. I completed the second portion over Thanksgiving weekend. I look forward to going back to Hilltop over the winter break to finish the third and final section of the mural!

My royal sisters and I attended the junior winter carnival taco feed. We had lots of fun meeting the candidates and mingling with other royalty. We even got to support past IGH royalty who are now junior winter carnival candidates!

This past Friday the other girls in Royalty and I participated in the Skate with Santa event at the Grove. We made sure guests had wristbands, help guest who needed skates find them in their size and cleaned up after the event ended. During the event we got to zoom around on the ice with Santa and all the other guests. It was so much fun!

On Thursday, December 4th me and me loyal family went to Hillcrest Pointe and decorated for Christmas. We put up all sorts of decorations like a Christmas tree and ornaments. We also meet a lot of people like Rosemary, Bonnie, and Becky. We had so much fun and it was a great experience. I’m looking forward to going back

This was my first community service project! I made Christmas cards for people at Hillcrest Pointe in Inver Grove Heights. I took old cards my family got and turned them into new ones with construction paper, cool scissors, and stamps. Then I gave them out to the people there and left some at their doors. I really hope they liked them!

On November 28, our royal family had the opportunity to attend the first-ever lighting of Simley Pond! We got to help hand out candy canes, which we had a lot of fun doing. We visited with police officers and firefighters, and even got to take a picture with Santa! We all enjoyed seeing the pond lit up. Thanks to everyone who helped put together this special event, and to everyone who came out to enjoy it!

Today we went to the light up parade in Cambridge and it was really fun. We started off by Christmas caroling then we went to set up the float and talked to other royalties. Then we played Christmas music and there was a lot of people in the parade! The day was extra special because it was Jenna‘s birthday and we got to celebrate with her. We helped take down the float and ended the night off with a potato bar and found out who our secret Santa is.
