Hillcrest Pointe Decorating

On Thursday, December 4th me and me loyal family went to Hillcrest Pointe and decorated for Christmas. We put up all sorts of decorations like a Christmas tree and ornaments. We also meet a lot of people like Rosemary, Bonnie, and Becky. We had so much fun and it was a great experience.  I’m looking forward to going back

Service Project: Cards for Hillcrest Pointe

This was my first community service project! I made Christmas cards for people at Hillcrest Pointe in Inver Grove Heights. I took old cards my family got and turned them into new ones with construction paper, cool scissors, and stamps. Then I gave them out to the people there and left some at their doors. I really hope they liked them!

Light Up Simley Pond

On November 28, our royal family had the opportunity to attend the first-ever lighting of Simley Pond! We got to help hand out candy canes, which we had a lot of fun doing. We visited with police officers and firefighters, and even got to take a picture with Santa! We all enjoyed seeing the pond lit up. Thanks to everyone who helped put together this special event, and to everyone who came out to enjoy it!

Cambridge Light Up Parade

Today we went to the light up parade in Cambridge and it was really fun. We started off by Christmas caroling then we went to set up the float and talked to other royalties. Then we played Christmas music and there was a lot of people in the parade!  The day was extra special because it was Jenna‘s birthday and we got to celebrate with her.  We helped take down the float and ended the night off with a potato bar and found out who our secret Santa is.

Service Project: Loaves and Fishes

On 11/13 I had the opportunity to go to the River Heights Vineyard Church for Loaves and Fishes as one of my service projects. I got to meet Mike and his team, we got to pass out food, talk to everyone and get to know them. I had the opportunity to serve meals as people from the community drove up.  We also got to give them extra food like bread and lettuce if they wanted it. We served pasta, chicken, and a salad and had extra so I got to try a meal and it was so yummy. I am so grateful for the opportunity, it was so fun!

Service Project: Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital

My first service project I chose to do was to collect blankets for the puppies and kitties to donate to the animal hospital. I asked friends and family to donate gently used blankets, and even received some brand new ones. When I brought them into the Inver Grove Heights animal hospital, the staff were very excited and said this would last them all year. It felt good to know I helped contribute to keeping the pets warm when they are sick or having surgery.

Crowning Achievements

This past Saturday Nov.8th, we traveled to New Richmond Wisconsin for the Crowning Achievements pageant. Crowning achievements is a non profit for teens and young adults with special needs. They organize fun events like bowling and trips to the zoo and also this pageant. This was the 17th year of the pageant.

My favorite part of the event was watching the many talents and especially the comedy part, cause I thought the jokes were funny. We also took many pics with other ambassadors and a big group photo on stage with everyone. Of course  also took silly photos with my fellow royal sisters.

Thank you to all the volunteers of Crowning Achievements it was a very fun day.

Sponsor Visit: Wipaire

Last Thursday, I visited my sponsor, Wipaire. They have buildings in Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul.  They build and put floats on airplanes. These floats help planes land on the water!  One of the coolest planes I saw was the Fire Boss, a special plane that helps fight fires from the sky.

Shanti and Andrew gave my dad and me a tour, and it was so fun to see how the floats are made and to get up close to the airplanes. Everyone was very nice, and I had a lot of fun.

THANK YOU to Wipaire for the wonderful tour and for supporting the Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program!

2025 Ghostly Gathering

On Friday, October 24th my group had the opportunity to go to the Ghostly Gathering at the Veterans Memorial Center. We got to dance, get candy, and help out with different activities. I loved that I was able to help and I had such a great time!

Sponsor Visit: Key Community Bank

Today I got meet with representatives of my sponsor, Key Community Bank. I was happy to meet with them and drop off a thank you card and basket. We talked a little bit about myself and the program. They were very nice and even let me put a box in the lobby for donations towards my service project. Thank you, Key Community Bank, for your sponsorship.
