Sponsor Visit: Quality Auto Care Center

Last week I had the opportunity to go to my sponsor Quality Auto Care Center. We meet Bruce who is the owner of Quality Auto Care and had a conversation about many different topics. I had a lot of fun meeting my sponsor. He is such a kind person, and I learned a lot about him and how he started his business.  I’m looking forward to future visits.

Service Project: Girl Scouts

For my first service project I went to volunteer for Inver Grove Heights Girl Scouts to organize shelves and supplies at a storage unit in Inver Grove. We took all of the items out of the unit and organized them then, replaced it so, area Girl Scout troop leaders and members can borrow things they need from there anytime they want. It was a good project and I’m exited for more to come!

Dog Pawty

Our royal family attended the Dog Pawty, where we had the opportunity to help out with activities like the dog kissing booth and musical sit, which is like musical chairs but for dogs! We loved meeting all the dogs and passing out treats and Halloween dog bandanas. We got to judge the dog costume contest and had so much fun doing so. It was exciting to see all the creative costumes. We also had a great time visiting with the vendors there. We ended the event with shaved ice treats thanks to Don Papi Chulo!

Minnesota Wild Sparkle Night

My royal sisters and I went to the Minnesota Wild game and we played against the Chicago Blackhawks. This is our first time our royalty got to go to the Wild’s Sparkle night and our first formal group event together. We were so excited!  We unfortunately lost the game,  but after we got to talk to royalties from area Twin Cities and then, we got on to the ice for photos. We had a blast and I’m exited for more to come!

Sponsor Visit: Heartland Credit Union

On August 20th, I completed my final sponsor visit at Heartland Credit Union.  I brought the staff a thank you card and some popcorn from Hometown Sweets.

They’re a really great sponsor to have and I’m so grateful for them and their support of the program.

Service Project: Free Book Buggie

On August 16th I volunteered with the Free Book Buggie. They collect and deliver books to children around the Twin Cities for free.

I got to meet a couple of their regular volunteers and learn more about their mission.  We sorted and cleaned up some donated books, we also pulled some books to have ready for a parade they were in.  It was fun for me since I have a love for books and I look forward to volunteering with them again.

Woodbury Coronation

Woodbury has always been special to our program as they get crowned close to us.  It’s also the only coronation our candidates go to! I love seeing all the picture frames the candidates make and the beautiful dresses and can’t wait to see what the new royalty will accomplish in their year.

Sponsor Visit: Quality Auto Care Center

On September 2nd I made my last visit to Bruce at Quality Auto Care Center. Bruce has been an incredible sponsor and supporter throughout my reign, and I’m so thankful for the kindness and generosity he’s shown me. Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know him—not only as a sponsor, but as someone who genuinely cares about the people he helps. Saying goodbye was bittersweet, but I was grateful to leave him with a picture of the two of us from my second sponsor visit to add to his wall of all the amazing individuals he’s sponsored, it is beautiful to me to see he does the pictures of everyone he’s sponsored, and I’m now grateful and proud to take part in the tradition.

Sincerely

Miss Princess of Inver Grove Heights 2025,

Samantha

Service Project: Animal Humane Society

On August 31th I completed my last service project before I give up my crown. I made snuffle mats to donate to the Animal Humane Society. Each snuffle mat took me about 2-3 hours to make. I made 9 snuffle mats each being a different color, and I had so much fun making these! I can’t wait for all the dogs to snuffle these mats

With love,

Service Project: Inver Grove Heights Fire Department

On Tuesday August 26th I completed my 3rd and final service project, my service project was making fire kits for the Inver Grove Heights Fire Departments, the Fire kits are for families who had a tragic house fire, the kits contained waters, granola bars, N95 masks, cloth gloves, tissues, as well as latex gloves, all in all I got

104 waters, 224 granola bars, 120+ N95 masks, 258 cloth gloves, 10 tissues, and 500 latex gloves. I was able to make over 30 fire kits, I would like to thank everyone who donated to my service project, without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible, and I’m so happy my final service project was with the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department, I had such a fun time making the kits, I even got to take a picture with Fire Fighter – Fire Inspector Derek  McNamara and the fire truck Tender 26.

Sincerely

Miss Princess of Inver Grove Heights 2025,
