2018 Skate with Santa

On December 8th we worked with Inver Grove Heights Parks and Recreation skate with Santa event at the Veterans Memorial Community Center. There was a fabulous turn out and a lot of little kids got to see Santa and even skate with him. The excitement on all the kids faces can’t even be described. There was so much laughter and joy. What a fun way to combine ice skating and seeing Santa.

2018 Candy Cane Hunt

On Saturday December 8th 2018, my royal sisters and I were fortunate enough to serve the community. The candy cane hunt brought smiles to the parents and kids in our community. So glad that we could also get to know more people in our community.

2018 Cambridge Snowflake parade

On November 17th, my royal sisters and I had the privilege to be a part of the Cambridge Snowflake Parade. As well as being in the parade, we went to a nursing home to sing Christmas carols. We had a lot of fun singing to everyone there. The parade was cold, but we didn’t let it dampen our smiles. After the parade we got to visit with the other royalty and eat chili. Not long into the visiting Santa showed up.

First Service Project Jr Miss 2019

For my first service project, I collected items for Cory’s Closet at Simley High School. During the month of October, I gathered clothes and hygiene products. Cory’s Closet is a set up in the nurse’s office that helps provide products to students who need help at the moment. In total I collected over 700 items. Thank you to Cub Foods for donating 137 grocery bags. A special thank you to Dr. Tandon at Southridge Dental for donating 24 bags full of toothpaste, toothbrushes, and flosses. I had fun collecting everything and it was a wonderful feeling when I brought everything in.

Halloween Parade

Our first parade was an absolute success! Everyone defines success in a different way, but in this case I would consider it a success because we ended up winning second place for our floats creativity! We were so close to first, but we lost the first place title to a group of ladies dressed up as State Fair food so I don’t feel too bad. I think they had an amazing idea! Everyone looked great so I feel like we are blessed to have won anything! Also, this last weekend was a success due to the fact that we got to meet some surrounding royalty, and make friends with them! We met the princesses from Cottage Grove’s Strawberryfest as well as the Hammond Heartland Days princesses. Our first parade was so delightful!

Good Samaritan Spaghetti Dinner

On October 25th we participated in The Good Samaritan Society of Inver Grove Heights Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. We had the opportunity to meet many residents and their families as we served spaghetti. There were a lot of cool baskets and delicious desserts available to purchase or bid on.  At the end of the event we all enjoyed a big dish of yummy spaghetti and a sweet cupcake treat.

2018 City Council Meeting

On Monday, October 22 the royal court and I had the privilege to attend a City Hall meeting. We were able to meet the City Hall committee and also present the mayor with a traditional photo that we had taken with him during the summer. This was an incredible experience, and will be a cherished memory.

Inver Glenn Library Halloween House Event

On October 19th, the Miss Inver Grove Heights Royal Family went to the Inver Glen Library to help out with the event going on. At this event, the kids were making halloween themed gingerbread houses. We helped the kids open the frosting and gave them their candy to place on the house they created. It was a lot of fun and it was nice to meet everyone who came. Thank you Friends of the Inver Glen Library for letting us come out and help.
