Crowning Achievements 2019

On November 2nd, my royal family and I had the opportunity to attend the crowning achievements pageant. There we met the new crowning Achievements court and a wide variety of ambassadors from surrounding cities. It was beautiful hearing about the ambitions and talents each contestant had and I cherished seeing the joy on each one of their faces when they were crowned. I hope to see their joyful personalities at another event soon!

Junior Princess Sponsor Visit

I met with my sponsor Greg Kuntz, with Remax Results on Friday, October 18. We talked about ideas that I could do for my community service projects. We also talked about some of the events we have already participated in and our upcoming events. My sponsor knows a lot about the Royalty life as he was previously King Boreas with the Winter Carnival. He has spoken at many Royal events in surrounding communities and loves to teach the candidates the proper parade wave.  I am thankful to have a sponsor that understands the commitment and can help guide me as I learn my role this year.

Good Samaritan Spaghetti Dinner

On Thursday, October 10th, my court and I visited Good Samaritan to help serve at their spaghetti dinner fundraiser, We were able to greet the public, seat them at tables, and then serve them their meal. I loved being able to serve the community while also spending time with my court and others in the city. Seeing friendly faces walk through the door made my night and showed me that we have such a strong community and we are always willing to help each other out. I had a wonderful evening and I look forward to working with Good Samaritan in the future.

Gertens Pumpkinfest

On October 5th my royal sisters and I went to the Gertens Halloween event. We helped out with kid’s games, like reading Halloween books and playing pumpkin tic-tac-toe. My favorite thing was trying to build the spooky skeleton.

Little Princess Service Project

For my second Service project I chose Last Hope Rescue. I was able to collect cat litter, cat food both wet and dry, cat treats and cat toys and many more cat and kitty items. Since that’s what they were in need for at this time. I really enjoyed myself and was glad I was able to help.

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday April 13th, my royal sisters and I were invited to help at the Rich Valley Park Easter Egg Hunt. We were in charge of doing the countdown and we helped pick up the cones after the event. During the event we went to three different egg hunts for the different age groups. It was fun to talk with all the kids and see them work hard to find the eggs.

Junior Princess Service Project

On Friday April 12, 2019. I had the opportunity to put together 50 spring bags with candy, toys, play-do, and pencils for Gillette hospital. When I was delivering all the bags I had seen some patients come and go but from each of them I had got a smile which made my day! I was really happy when my mom got in touch with Natalie from Gillette’s hospital, thank you so much for letting me be apart of that.

Sponsor Visit

I am so thankful for Gertens for sponsoring me and the program. It was really fun to meet Dale one of the managers at Gertens. He was really nice and gave me orange flowers. I even got to take a picture with a giant gnome! I just want to thank them not just my sponsor, but everyone who supports the Miss Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program.

Good Samaritan Brunch

The Good Samaritan Luncheon was a great opportunity to help fund raise for Good Samaritan. It was also a great opportunity to learn about how we make our greatest impressions when we are not trying to be impressive. We got to learn this from Joe Schmidt channel 5 sports anchor. On top of learning about how we make our greatest impressions we also got to meet many people who help run Good Samaritan and how the proceeds from this event helps them give their residents the greatest care.
