On Monday, my royal sisters and I celebrated the coronation of the new Woodbury royalty. It was fun to learn about the candidates and see their creativity with their personalized picture frames. It has been so great getting to serve with the current Woodbury royalty. I will miss them!

On Sunday, we attended the Woodbury Days parade. It was a warm, sunny day, but we had lots of fun greeting people in the parade. We chatted with the Woodbury royalty candidates and the current royals. We also took a group photo with many local royalty groups.

On Tuesday, August 27th Greta, Alice, and I got to help out at the South Valley Park Grand Re-opening. We had the pleasure of helping at the s’mores booth. I want to give a special shout out to Greta’s little sister Dagne for helping us out. We also got to have some amazing hotdogs, so shout out to Rob and Robin at Hometown Meats for those! We got to take some fun pictures with the IGH Fire Chief, the IGH Mayor, and the County Commissioner. Our last thing we got to do was pretty awesome. We had the amazing honor to cut the ribbon for the Grand Re-opening of South Valley Park.

On Saturday, August 17th my royal sisters and I attended the North Hudson Pepper Fest Parade. We got to join them for their pre-parade breakfast and it was pretty good. We mingled with some royalty and looked at the farewell tables for all of the Pepper Fest Royalty. It was a little rainy but overall we had lots of fun and loved Pepper Fest.

On Friday, August 16th, my Royal sisters and I volunteered to help IGH Parks and Rec with their Movie in the Park event. It was originally going to be at Oakwood Park but got moved to the Grove due to the rain. We helped run the bounce obstacle courses and made sure everyone was safe. We of course had to try it out ourselves. It was so funny! Keonna almost lost her crown. We had a great time and love to support our community.

On Saturday, August 10th we went to the New Brighton parade. We saw tons of different royalty like Rice Street, Woodbury, Coon Rapids and Winter Carnaval. After that, we got to have a parade lunch with hotdogs and chips. It was a very fun to be a part of the parade.

My sponsor and I The Best Roofing Company got to hang out at our Kick-Off Dinner for our lovely city of Inver Grove Heights. We got to catch up and talk about my amazing year I have had being royalty and my future plans for next year. He was awesome and bid on my cake I made for the auction and he won it! I gave him a gift as a thank you for sponsoring me, as this would not be possible without his generous sponsorship donations. He also was really nice and gave me his company merchandise! My royal family and I had our kick off dinner on August 7th. We all had such a blast! We even got to march as The Royal Guards! Our parents were so suprised! We kept it a secret!We had a silent auction that was so amazing lots of fun baskets! Also we auctioned off our cakes that were Super Hero themed! We all said thank you’s to everyone in the program! With out the support everyone we would not have everything!

Last Sunday we went to the Little Canada parade. We got to see a whole bunch of different royalties, including Woodbury, St Paul Winter Carnival, the Vulcans, Eagan funfest, Rice Street and their candidates. We saw a fair and lots of food trucks. We also traded a bunch of buttons with the other royalties. It was so much fun attending the parade. We are going to miss our Rice Street royal sisters.
